I have my favorite club to list and the party is always on and the cover super low and the dancing is hot. Club Dakota in Santa Cruz is the spot to be for dance music on Fridays and Hip hop on Saturday nights.

Fri, January 23, 2004 - 5:31 AMno problem. The blue lagoon is still open Club Dakota is about 2 to 3 block "down" from there across from the big bookstore.
Blue is okay and has more dance floor but the people are way nicer (seems like family) at Club Dakota.
If you come on by on a Friday night I will be the hispanic guy flirting and dancing shamelessly with all the lesbian girls :)

Tue, January 27, 2004 - 3:46 PMno sure if you are talking about club dakota but cover is like 3 dollars and their is hardly ever a line. They have drag shows every once and awhile but their are no live bands. it is a nice spot to sit and drink and then go and dance to the DJ's. I do not drink but I think the cost for drinks are reasonable/good compared to other places.
Everyone is VERY nice if you go enough they don't charge you (maybe it's just me?!?) -
